Tahoe Timber Trails (TTT) Association is a private, member-owned camping community, nestled in the Tahoe National Forest 7 miles north of downtown Truckee, California.
The park has 553 individual campsites on 159 acres and sits at an elevation ranging from 6000-6500 feet. Our office is open year-round while the camping season runs from May to the end of October each year.
Our amenities include a 9000 sq. ft. lodge with multiple rooms: central meeting room, kitchen, adult, teen and pre-teen rooms with TV's and satellite dishes, a pool table, free videos, vending machines, Bingo and Laundry facilities, and restrooms with showers. There are also 21 Comfort Stations (restrooms with showers) throughout the park for your convenience.
Just outside the Lodge is a heated swimming pool, baseball field, basketball court, and a newly refurbished playground for children. We have a new walking and Skating track. There is a Bocce Ball court as well. We also have a large picnic/recreation area (with another playground) in the lower elevation near "Bill's Place", where we hold our horseshoe tournaments, barbecues, Labor Day bazaar and hamburger feeds.
All sorts of activities are available from social gatherings in the Lodge, to Deck parties at members sites, plus everything in between.
We have three lakes nearby that provide good fishing and water sports. In the winter members can snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe into their site. (weather permitting) A comfort station is kept open in the winter for visitors use.
For those of you that need more, the beauty of Lake Tahoe, the dazzling lights of Reno and the bustling ski-town of Truckee are just minutes away.
Our camp community was established in 1972 and all of our members and guests enjoy a secure camping environment. Our entrance is gated, and only those with key cards, or their registered guests are permitted entry. Water to the sites is provided via street hydrants. A black water pump-out service is available weekly (for a small fee), with gray water disposal via a French drain. We also have 2 dump stations available in season. Power to the sites is via solar panels and batteries or generator (10am to 9pm only). Propane is available for a fee, as is battery charging.
Time Is Running Out!
The deadline for compliance with Nevada County is October 31st. If you have not corrected violations on your site, fines and suspension of membership privileges will be levied. A majority of the members have already, or are in the process of, making the necessary changes.
Please contact the office @ 530-587-4023 to arrange an appointment to discuss your particular situation. The Board of Directors wants to work with you and avoid penalties to anyone. However, the mandate from the county is clear and they have the authority to enforce compliance against a member or the whole association.
Please refer to the Members Only page for information regarding building codes, dimensions, permits, etc.
